I started this page six months ago so this is my first end-of-year list. I've been looking forward to compiling it thanks to all the wonderful new music I discovered this year. Here are my 20 favorite albums of the year.

Jon, thanks for this great list! Good to see Solo Andata, Scanner & KDJE (all big LMYE favourites that seem to have been crowded out this list season) getting some love...

You're reminding me I need to listen to Gudnadottir more - suspect I might rank it pretty well as high as you do. I'll also have to follow up on some of your choices (Yagya, for example)...

Thanks Julian, I'm particularly surprised that Solo Andata didn't get more attention. But there was a lot of good music this year. Yes, I heartily recommend Yagya's album, which I've probably listened to the most of all the albums on the list.
